A popular retail shopping center located in a predominantly young, latino community needed flyers to be generated each month showcasing coupon discounts offered by the center's retailers. Each month carried a different holiday or event theme, yet needed brand consistency for each press run.
The owner's previous website was a dated and rather unappealing HTML-driven website with little modern functionality. With the expansion of the networking group, the new website needed to supply members with a respository for membership information displayed only to active memebers. Additional needs included display of each member's headshot, professional biography, and contact information
Looking for something different for their new contemporary furniture line, this retailer's challenge was to create a product line sheet that would be outside traditional furniture collateral. Using the owner's existing bright color palette and incorporating the ambience of linear design that matches their retail store displays, the piece became a real winner.
Challenge: Create a site in short order that is user friendly, incorporates a countdown clock tied to the event date, contemporary in visual display, links to a third party registration module and offers merchandise for sale by a nonprofit. Visit the site. San Diego Beer Run
Previously, the shopping center client had little in the way of a brand identity. Looking to put forth a fun image that is also inviting to the surrounding, predominantly younger latino community, a palette of colorful warm tones and elements was incorporated into the new signage and other forms of collateral.
A project for the City of San Diego to promote responsible recycling of compact fluorescent light bulbs to locations throughout the city.
"It has to be different. It has to be edgy. It has to be bold." - These were the only instructions from the owner for his new website hosting business. He wanted a flat design so that it could stand out amongst the overpopulated sea of logos using gradients in their design.
